Welcome to Garden and Hearth's Canning and Preserving Site. Here you will find delicious recipes for a variety of preserving methods - canning, freezing, drying and pickling. It doesn't matter whether your goals is to can jelly for your family and friends to give as gifts or to put up enough food to feed your entire family through the winter we are here to help. You will also find and extensive article library on techniques, basic how to's and the latest equipment. Safety is always a concern and we will cover those issues as well.

Feel free to share your favorite recipes with us and post your questions or comments in the Canning and Preserving Forum. I love to hear from my readers - tell me what works for you and what your are preserving this season. I will post shared recipes on the website.
