Welcome to Family Fun Adventures. This site is dedicated to offbeat, unusual and sometimes hilarious places and events for families. You will also get a bit of history and storytelling when reading articles on this site. Included are personal travels and interviews with family and friends to spice up the adventures along the way.

Laura Evans lives in Southern California with her husband, Keith, two dogs, four cats, and a lot of fish. Laura and Keith love to travel, sometimes dragging the two dogs, Daffy and Dawnie, and two of the cats, George and Alexis, along. "Dragging" is perhaps the wrong word. Daffy loves going anywhere. Dawnie, George, and Alexis sometimes have mixed feelings, particularly about going to the V-E-T.


Laura has a Bachelor’s Degree in History and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. She is planning on exceeding the average number of career changes that people typically have during their lifetimes. Five is the golden number, and she is already in her fifth career change with many, many years to come. Today, Laura is a freelance writer, an antique dealer, and a tutor at a local college.
