Welcome to Homeschooling at Garden and Hearth! This site is for YOU the homeschooler. Whether you are just started out or a seasoned veteran you will find something here to meet your needs. We want to provide a well rounded place to visit - advice and how to's for the newbies, encouragement for those whole have been at it awhile and practical resources. So look for not only articles on the above topics but worksheets you print off, unit studies, kid's activities and ways you can incorporate FUN into you homeschool adventure.

I am always open to hearing about your needs. If you need a particular type of worksheet, activity or advice please don't hesitate to drop me a line. I will do what I can do meet that need.
 

Belinda's Bio

Belinda J.. Mooney has been homeschooling her seven children for over 22 years. Four of the seven are still at home. She loves making learning fun for everyone. She is also a freelance writer and columnist. Her articles can be found in many regional parenting magazines across the country. She also writes educational material.

She is the Kid's Craft Writer (http://kidscrafts.suite101.com) at Suite101. She enjoys incorporating cooking into everything and writes a Kids in the Kitchen column (www.childrensrecipes.com) and has a site for mom's - www.dinnersinthefreezer.com. When she is not busy doing all the above she helps her husband in the church he pastors, is an avid reader and loves taking long walks.
