Story of the World Volume 1 Resources
The Story of the World by Susan Bauer is a wonderful history resource.
We are using it along with several other things for our history studies.
It Is great for younger children. The book itself is very easy to read.
It can be read aloud to younger children. Third grade and up can read
the chapters on their own if preferred. You can buy this curriculum
online. We found a copy at our local library.
Although you can purchase activity guides for each of the volumes we
chose not to do that. Instead I made my own resources and am sharing
these here with you. I understand the activity guides are very nice.
I have broken the resources down by sections and will be updating this
page as we get deeper into our study. Click on the chapters to see
research sheets, coloring pages, questionnaires and more.
If there is a worksheet or coloring page for this that you would like to
see just drop me a note in the
Homeschool Forum.

~Belinda Mooneyy
Belinda J. Mooney is a veteran
homeschool mom of 7. She loves incorporating all types of learning from
cooking to crafts into her children's learning. Her kids, ages 25 down
to 7, can often be seen wearing togas (or other strange clothing) to
dinner, doing school outside or leaping fences to get a picture of a
strange bug. Her husband has threatened to eat the science projects.
