Make some flying bats with coffee filters, paint and clothespins.
It's a super easy to do kid's craft that is perfect for the fall season.
You will need for each bat:
coffee filter
wooden clothespin (not the kind with the metal spring)
black water color paints
brown paint
tiny wiggly eyes
brown felt for ears
Directions:
Lay your coffee filter on newspaper. Carefully brush or drip black
paint onto your coffee filter until it absorbs all the color. Let dry.
Paint your clothespin dark brown. This is your bats body. let dry.
Cut out two tiny pointy shape ears out of the felt. Glue these to
the top rounded end of the clothespins on either side.
Glue on two tiny eyes.
Scrunch the coffee filter in the middle and slide onto the
clothespin. Tie a string around the middle and hang up your bat.
