Sudoku is the latest puzzle craze and even the kids want to get in on
the scene. My kids love doing sudoku puzzles. But the regular ones are
too hard for my younger ones. So I decided to great some easy sudoku
puzzles for kids.
Only these sudoku puzzles have a twist. Instead of numbers there are
pictures. On this one there is a ball, heart, smiley face and snowflake.
And to make it even easier (No drawing involved!). I have added cut out
squares of the missing numbers. So not only do your kids get to increase
their thinking skills with these logic puzzles but younger ones can
practice cutting.
These sudoku puzzles have 1 picture for each square instead of the
numbers 1 - 4. Here are some sudoku tips:
- There can only be 1 of each picture in each row across.
- There can only be 1 of each picture in each column down.
- There can only be 1 of each picture in each square.
Here's another great idea for using these sudoku puzzles. Print them
out and laminate. Cut out the puzzle board and add a small piece of
Velcro on the empty squares. Add the opposite side of the Velcro to the
playing pieces. Now the kids can reposition them over and over and the
crossword puzzle can be used again and again.
