In this charming book a child suffers the common miserable woe of
being misunderstood. The little girl loves red. Juice tastes
better in the red cup. The red stockings help her to jump higher,
but alas her mom tells her she must wear the white stockings that match
with the dress.
The simply drawn pictures, colored sparingly save for the red revered
items send the message home just how special the child views these
items.
A good insight for those of us grown-ups who are a little too...
practical at times.
After reading this book your child just may be partial to the color
red.
