Theresa's Bio

Theresa Lansberry, Garden and Hearth's Knitting editor, will lead you on a merry tour of the world according to the knitter. Nothing is off limits! She will give her informative and often quirky evaluation of fibers, history, patterns, people, and the social implications of knitting.

Theresa started knitting as an adult and has been obsessed ever since. She takes special joy in encouraging new knitters, and teaching the next generation knitting skills. While she tackles diverse knitting projects, she especially enjoys the three dimensional work of sculpting a sock out of yarn, and always has a sock in progress on her dpns. She lives in Peoria, IL, with her beloved husband, six children who bring her much joy, a sister who helps keep her sane, Einstein the hairless dog who tries to undo the work of the sister, and not enough yarn.
