If you like history, you’ll enjoy looking at America’s past at
Kearney’s Great Platte River Road Archway. Spanning across Interstate
80, this hi-tech museum showcases America’s history from pioneer times
to present day Americana. What I like about it is the variety of
technologies utilized to make history come alive.

When my mom and I were on a business trip, we stopped at Burwell’s
Sandstone Grill, a new establishment – for a glass of iced tea and ended
up enjoying the food, atmosphere, and employees. If you are in Burwell
for Nebraska’s Big Rodeo or just for a trip to Calamus Lake, a stop to
the Sandstone Grill is a must!

When in Omaha, plan on spending the day at Henry Doorly Zoo. It’s a top Omaha
attraction that’s sure to delight animal enthusiasts with its varied exhibits.
One of my family favorites is to visit during the Holiday season when Christmas
lights shine on the exhibits. The Zoo is perfect for a family outing or a first
date! Let’s take a look inside....

One of my favorite spots to eat in Nebraska is at Chances R, located
in York, Nebraska. One of Nebraska’s premier dining establishments,
Chances R offers something for everyone! It’s one of my family’s
favorite spots to go for special occasions – even if it means a two hour
drive to get there!
